I joined this company as the 7th employee, taking on full ownership of both marketing and product design from day one. The product is a sophisticated, enterprise-grade SaaS platform built for the cybersecurity space — specifically around threat intelligence. The workflows are complex, the data is dense, and the stakes for the people using it are genuinely high. Getting the design right wasn't just a nice-to-have; it directly affected how fast and accurately people could do their jobs.
On the product side, I led design across the full lifecycle — from early ideation and user research through wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and final deployment. I worked shoulder-to-shoulder with product and engineering teams during planning and architecture, balancing user experience with technical constraints. One of my core responsibilities was translating deeply technical processes into interfaces that felt intuitive — reducing cognitive load so that enterprise users could investigate, configure, and act quickly, even under pressure.
To support consistency across a multi-platform product (Mac, Windows, and Linux), I built and maintained a scalable design system in Figma. This gave engineering a reliable source of truth and allowed the product to grow without losing visual or interaction coherence. I also ran user interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis on an ongoing basis to validate features before and after launch, and advocated for strong design culture through documentation, reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
Beyond the product itself, I partnered with leadership to shape how the company told its story — refining product messaging, contributing to the broader brand experience, and helping align what we were building with how we communicated it to the market.
The results speak for themselves. The company was acquired — twice. And as of today, it is on a trajectory toward going public in 2027. I'm proud to have been part of building something from the ground floor that grew into something this significant.
